Owning and operating a 3PL Company can be a very rewarding career move. You’ve developed positive relationships over the years with customers, vendors and employees while generating personal wealth.

Now you’ve come to the day when you want to step aside and cash out.

If you’ve planned for this day and have a great business to sell, congratulations. However, if you are the main operator in your freight business, it may not be a positive experience trying to sell your company.

Without you, your company may not be worth very much to a prospective purchaser. And responses from the ‘big’ guys may be downright insulting.

My experience was very positive because I had an option.  Now you have an option.

We’ve successfully helped a number of smaller operators sell their businesses while having their customers and employees needs looked after.

Contact Rod at info@xartnal.ca and we can have a discussion about what your exit strategy looks like and how we can play a part.

About Rod Wainwright

I began my transportation career in 1976 as a courier driver. Since then, I have successfully built and sold several companies. The last company included truck freight brokerage, warehouse fulfillment, ocean forwarding and an asset-based trucking company.

My intention was not to build a large organization and at one point early on I attempted to sell but was quickly informed that my company had nothing of value without me, which I found insulting and flattering at the same time.

If I wanted out, I pretty much had to walk away from my established relationships – customers, vendors and employees.

This option didn’t exist.

I was young and stubborn enough to spend the next 15 years building a successful business that had value and cashed in.

Call or email me for a confidential discussion of what might prove to be an exit solution for you.
